Lycée Français, an independent, private PreK to Grade 12 school, is one of 500 schools worldwide offering a world-class dual-language curriculum, guided by the French ministry of education and complimented by American courses and programs. In the fall 2015, Lycée Français will move to a new and permanent home in Chicago's Lincoln Square neighborhood. The campus will span 3.8 acres featuring space for 800 students, 41 classrooms, administrative offices, dedicated laboratories for art, science and music, along with a cafeteria, gymnasium, library, two separate playgrounds, a soccer field and ample green space for future campus expansion and outdoor athletic events.

The Groundbreaking Ceremony takes place Saturday, May 10th, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. All are welcome. RSVPs are requested.

The French Consulate in Chicago is organizing the French-American Science Festival, a hands-on science event designed for both American and French students from 5th through 10th grade and their teachers, Wednesday, 14 May at Northwestern's School of Medicine Chicago Campus.

"All our students and teachers so much enjoyed last year's festival that we can't wait for the third annual French-American Science Festival!" - Cathy-Anne Aimé, Science Teacher, Lycée Français de Chicago
